Cast Iron Cookware

Cast Iron Cookware Care and Use Instructions

Before First Use
• Please clean the cookware with hot soapy water and warm water, ensuring rinse and dry thoroughly to prevent rusting.

Heat Recommendations
• Cast iron cookware can be used on various heat sources, including induction, electric, ceramic, and gas cooktops, as well as ovens, grills, and open flames.
• When using cookware on a ceramic or glass cooktop, lift it carefully and avoid sliding or dragging to prevent damage to the cooktop or the bottom of the cookware.
• Please note that cast iron cookware is not suitable for microwave use.

Cooking Recommendations
• For best results, cook using medium or low heat.
• Medium to low heat is suitable for most cooking; in properly preheated conditions, cast iron cookware rarely needs to exceed medium heat.

Handles
• Cookware handles may become hot during use of the stovetop and oven; always use oven mitts or hot pads when handling and moving.
• Use burners according to the diameter of the bottom of the cookware, avoid using larger burners and prevent placing handles directly under heat or flame.

Oven Use
• It can be used in the oven, except for utensils with wooden or bakelite handles.
• Oven safe up to 450°F (230°C).

Cleaning and Care
• Avoid using harsh abrasives and detergents.
• Do not place hot cookware into cold water; wait for the cookware to cool to room temperature before cleaning.
• Cookware may be cleaned in the dishwasher, but for optimum performance and lifespan, hand washing is recommended.

Caution
• Do not leave cookware unattended to prevent it from burning empty.
• Do not use sharp knives on cookware surfaces. Please use care to avoid possible damage caused by dropping and collision of the cookware.
• With regular use and maintenance, a slight amount of staining is to be expected with cookware and does not affect performance.
